Chris has also opened shows for Chuck Berry, Bobby Blue Bland, Lonnie Brooks, Shemekia Copeland, Robert Cray, Bo Diddley, Robert Gordon, Mitch Ryder, Boz Scaggs, Pete Seeger, The Ventures, and Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul and Mary). He's written, arranged and produced recordings for himself ("Night Shift", with Bobby Harden) and others, been featured on National Public Radio's syndicated program, "Portraits in Blue", and contributed an original tune, "Ain't Got No Home", to NBC's critically acclaimed prime time show "Homicide: Life on the Street". Also, he played in the off-Broadway hit musical "Love, Janis", the life story of legendary blues-rock singer Janis Joplin.
