Original Fine Art by Jerry Di Falco of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. ETCHING ON TWO ZINC PLATES. Oil-based etching ink (French) on RivesBFK white paper (also French). Framed. (app.18 x 24) in Black wood with glass. 2015. And printed by artist at The Fleisher Art Memorial&s Open Studio in Printmaking.
Item Special Note
Di Falcos accolades include: 1) the 2009 City of Philadelphia's Award in Arts & Culture; 2 A Fellowship from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in NYC ($30,000, 2001); and two grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (1992 and 1987). He has exhibited around the world in over 350 shows since 1980. He currently works in The Center for Works on Paper as a Monitor/Printmaker Fleisher's Open Studio in Printmaking; Fleisher is associated with The Philadelphia Museum of Art. He hols a Masters Degree from Drexel University (1985) and a Bachelor if Visual Arts Degree from Rutgers University (1974). His works are in collections around the world including Budapest, London, Bath (England), Madrid, Hong Kong, and across the USA.
