Michele is a National Board certified acupuncturist, licensed in the state of Arizona and has been in practice for 5 years. As a community acupuncturist she has performed thousands of treatments for ailments including stress, anxiety, depression, diabetes, allergies, IBS, constipation, vertigo, fertility, labor induction, back pain, neck pain, knee pain, elbow pain, foot pain, headaches and more. The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture is a locally owned and operated holistic health care clinic striving to bring affordable health care to Tucson. As acupuncture treats both the symptoms as well as the root cause of health problems, it is successfully used to treat both pain and internal ailments around the world. Acupuncture, like most medications and therapies, is most effective when used frequently. With regular treatments patients will see life changing results. The great thing about acupuncture is that there are no negative side effects âÂÂÂ?ÂÂÂ? only positive ones, such as increased vitality, less stress and an overall sense of well-being. The Gathering Point Community Acupuncture joins a growing movement of acupuncture clinics that treat acupuncture as it is often practiced in China, with patients treated in a group setting. Using this model, we are able to charge on a sliding scale, making our treatments affordable. Therefore patients are able to receive acupuncture more frequently with noticeable results. Treatments are administered in a community setting with patients lying on individual tables. Though the room is a community setting, the initial consultation is private. Our fees are set up to assist our patients, helping them to receive services as needed. Patients decide what they pay within a sliding scale of $20 to $40, with a one-time paperwork fee of $10.
