Item Description
We are thrilled to partner with Gallery Route One (GRO) in offering you your choice of one of seven 11" by 14" archival photographic prints from photographers participating in GRO's Latino Photography Project.
This auction item provides you an opportunity to choose one framed photographic print from among seven offerings by these seven artists:

- Claudia Salgado
The Latino Photography Project began in 2003 as a project embracing two programs, an adult photography class and classes for youth (grades 6 through 12) as an in-school elective and an after-school lab.
Many of the themes involve bridging the cultural divide showing the ethnic and socio-economic make-up of Main Street Point Reyes Station, visiting homes of both Anglos and Latinos to learn about housing problems, gardening, herbal cures, habitat restoration, or recipes from our grandmothers. Through such meetings, and the resulting photos and text, Latinos and Anglos have come to know one another and to see commonalities.
Gallery Route One is a nonprofit art organization, presenting changing exhibitions year-round, and offering community support programs. GRO was founded by 25 artists in 1983, and currently offers two exhibition programs: member exhibitions and Project Space exhibitions, which feature guest artists.

Funds from the Dinner on the Pacific Plate Auction support important park preservation and environmental education projects at Point Reyes National Seashore, located just 90 minutes northwest of San Francisco on the Marin County coast. All winning bids made above fair market value are tax-deductible.
This package includes:

Your photographic print can be ordered through March 2018 and will be available for pick up by appointment at Point Reyes National Seashore Association or can be shipped at your cost.
