Brown Sugar Kitchen is more than a restaurant. This soul-food outpost is a community gathering spot, a place to fill the belly, and the beating heart of West Oakland, a storied postindustrial neighborhood across the bay from San Francisco.

At Brown Sugar Kitchen they cook with locally grown, organic and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. The menu reflects Tanya's unique interpretation of soul food which is influenced by her family history of entertaining family and friends, formal training at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in France and love of food from a wide variety of cultures. 

Since St. George Spirits was founded in 1982, they've grown from a dedicated eau de vie distillery into a diverse operation that makes a range of craft spirits. From a bare-bones production facility with tasting tables jerry-rigged on sawhorses, St. George has become a 65,000-square-foot hangar with a spectacular tasting room, laboratory, and a lineup of the most beautiful copper stills in the industry.

Yet their diverse team of individuals remains passionate about artisan spirits. They pledge to craft quintessential spirits to delight hedonists and genius bartenders alike - and when you taste their spirits, we think that the character and quality of what's in your glass will convey to you what St. George is all about.
