Vladimir Feltsman, founder and artistic director of PianoSummer, is an internationally acclaimed pianist and conductor. Mr. Feltsman, who studied at the Moscow Conservatory under the tutelage of the distinguished Russian pianist Jacob Flier, has performed with virtually every major American orchestra and has appeared on the most important recital series and music festivals in the USA and abroad. Pianist, conductor and teacher, he is recognized as one of the most important musicians of his generation. Mr. Feltsman teaches at SUNY New Paltz and at the Mannes College of Music in NYC.
