Are you interested in living and working in Japan? Then maybe the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program (jetprogramusa.org) might be for you! Your host will be Peter Weber, a current JCCCNC Board Member, former participated on the JET Program in Saitama Prefecture 2004-07, and former Program Coordinated the JET Program for the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco 2007-2012. He will treat you and a guest to dinner at Patxi's Pizza (www.patxispizza.com) at one of their 12 Bay Area Locations (San Francisco, South Bay, or East Bay) and talk about his experiences in Japan with the JET Program and working for the Japanese government at their Consulate office in San Francisco. For those interested in the program he will talk about the application process and give you tips on applying. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a meal and get inside information about one of the world's most successful international exchange programs.
