Item Description
This beautiful paddle is crafted by hand by current NBS student Sasha's father, Jeff Meyers.
Unique, hand made of ash, with a modified Algonquin style blade design, Maine guide (Penobscot) grip and upper shaft, it is hand carved with a combination of crooked knives, hand planes, spokeshaves, and rasps.
this beauty is 61" tall.
Jeff is a former sea kayak guide and naturalist for Paddleways, former Staff Scientist for the Lake Champlain Committee, and former Associate Director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.
Jeff now teaches biology at Otter Valley Union High School.
