David Fish - Scott Mead '77 Family Head Coach for Harvard Men's Tennis, enters his 42nd season with the Crimson in 2017-18.

In his 41 complete seasons at Harvard, Fish has amassed an impressive 681-312-1 overall record for a .686 winning percentage. Fish is the winningest men's tennis coach in Harvard history, surpassing mentor and Crimson legend Jack Barnaby's previous record of 371 wins. His squads are a dominant 284-46 (.861) in Eastern Intercollegiate Tennis Association/Ivy League play and have won seven of the last 17 EITA/Ivy titles, as well as 21 of the last 36 conference crowns.

Winner of the 2014 ITA Meritorious Service Award for his outstanding commitments and contributions to the ITA and college tennis, Fish has guided Harvard into the NCAA Championships 23 times, including 10-consecutive seasons from 1990 to 1999. He coached Harvard to its first ever NCAA Tournament victory with a 5-4 win over Drake in 1992, and has coached the Crimson to 15 total NCAA tourney wins.

Just the third coach in the history of Harvard men's tennis, Fish was named the 1993, 1998, 2008 and 2012 ITA Regional Coach of the Year. He has tutored 15 All-Americans during his tenure.

A 1972 graduate of Harvard, Fish played on three national championship squash teams and one Ivy Champion tennis team with the Crimson. Fish served as captain for both the tennis and squash teams.

Andrew Rueb ’95, Associate Head Coach

A two-time Ivy League Player of the Year and former Harvard tennis captain, returned to his alma mater as a coach in September 2007.

Rueb has helped guide the Crimson to a 168-82 record and has coached 17 All-Ivy selections in singles and 11 All-Ivy duos in doubles in his six seasons. He also led Harvard to the NCAA Tournament in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. After a stellar 2011-12 campaign that saw the Crimson compile a 23-3 overall record, Rueb was named the ITA Northeast Assistant Coach of the Year, the first time a Harvard assistant received the honor in over a decade.

Andrew was a standout for the Crimson, playing No. 1 singles and doubles during his career and was inducted into the Harvard Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013. He was twice voted the Ivy League Player of the Year in 1993 and 1995 and competed at the NCAA tournament three times. He was a four-time first-team All-Ivy recipient, twice in singles and twice in doubles. Academically, he received the prestigious John Reardon Award for Harvard's Scholar-Athlete of the year in 1995. In the spring of 2013, Rueb was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame.

Rueb spent time as a journeyman on the professional tennis circuit and published an article of his travels in Tennis Week Magazine and has blogged for the New York Times about tennis. Some of his professional highlights on the ATP tour included doubles main draw at Wimbledon in 1997 and the U.S. Open singles qualifiers in 1998.
