Item Description

Show your support for equality for women and the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) with this beautiful stainless steel ERA Solidarity cuff bracelet. Wear it with pride and spread awareness of this important issue to everyone who sees it!

This bracelet, a LeftWing-Bling exclusive, features a high-shine, “wet look” finish that gives you the look of platinum without the platinum price. You can feel the quality: it is heavy, smooth to the touch, and very durable – it does not bend.

Made from responsibly-sourced metals, it is lead-free, will never oxidize or rust, and cleans easily with a slightly damp cloth.

It is stamped on the inside with the LW-B mark of authenticity, and comes in our unique wedge-shaped box, so it also makes a wonderful gift for the women’s equality/ERA champion in your life. You can even have it engraved by a local jeweler as long as they have laser engraving capability.

Until there’s equality, wear this bracelet to show your solidarity with women past and present who are fighting for women’s equality, and to finally ratify the ERA so ALL women enjoy the same rights and protections as men under the Constitution.

Item Special Note

THE STORY BEHIND THE ERA BRACELET

As the first design we created, the ERA Solidarity Cuff Bracelet holds a special place in our hearts. Women’s equality is the issue that first drove me to become an activist, and I still believe that ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is the ONLY way to ensure women’s rights  are protected and women are treated equally under the law across the nation.

Although similar to the ERA bracelet we created as a fundraiser for the We Are Woman Rally in 2014 in that it has the letters ERA and is a cuff, this is actually a complete rework of that design for a new material: stainless steel. That bracelet had stepped-down lettering and was somewhat flexible in that it could be bent once, slightly, to better fit the wearer’s wrist. This one, on the other hand, is made using a completely different process, is unbendable, and features a beautiful “wet look” shine.

It should look beautiful for many years, and there’s some irony in that– it’s been 90+ years that women have been fighting for equality and passage of the ERA, and there’s no telling how much longer it will take, so hopefully this bracelet will last until women are finally equal and protected under the U.S. Constitution.
