Item Description

Discover DC's newest museum with a group of friends and a private docent.

This two-hour guided tour for up to 15 people focuses on exhibits related to the Hebrew Bible and the archaeology of Israel, and will be led by George Washington University's Professor of Northwest Semitic Languages and Literatures, Christopher Rollston. Professor Rollston, who has advised the MoB, specializes in the Hebrew Bible, ancient Semitic inscriptions, modern epigraphic forgeries, scribal education in ancient Israel and Judah, and religions of the ancient Near East.

Join Professor Rollston for an exploration of the special display of over 800 objects loaned and curated by the Israel Antiquities Authority, the unique exhibition of First and Second Temple period material, and some of the most famous ancient Hebrew and Aramaic inscriptions.

Item Special Note

Tour date and time to be determined by the winning bidder and Professor Rollston, facilitated by MILTON parent, Elise Friedland. While admission is free, the MoB requests a voluntary donation from visitors, which may be set by individual group members.
