Take home this adorable Labrador Retriever wood carving created by William Foelsch. This dog’s head is made using a technique called Intarsia where various shapes, sizes, and species of wood are fit together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. The exotic woods used in this art piece are Mahogany, reddish Chakte Coc, Walnut and reddish-brown Sapele. The Labrador is eagerly looking straight at the viewer with dark button eyes and nose with its tongue hanging out and a knotted scarf around his neck. Measures 11”w x 13”h.
