Item Description
Enjoy this playful bearded Schnauzer wood carving created by William Foelsch. This dog’s head is made using a technique called Intarsia where various shapes, sizes, and species of exotic woods are fit together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. The exotic woods used in this art piece are light Aspen, Mahogany, Ebonized Walnut, reddish Chakte Coc, Walnut and dark Ebony. The brown-haired Schnauzer is looking at the viewer with her head slightly cocked to the left with dark eyes under light feathered eyebrows and a dark button nose poking through her light bearded snout. She has naturally folded ears. Measures 9 ½”w x 12 ½”h.
