Item Description
Come swim away with this lovely swan wood carving created by William Foelsch. This swimming swan piece is made using a technique called Intarsia where various shapes, sizes, and species of exotic woods are fit together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. The dark billed, white swan has his feathers splayed behind him as he swims over mahogany colored water that has bladed grasses below the surface as well as growing above the water. Measures 19 ½”w x 11”h.
