Item Description
Ever watch Antiques Roadshow? Ever wish you had something with so much history and value? This item is true, one-of-a-kind, sports memorabilia. Titled “Curse of the Bambino” this is a framed collection of two pictures of George H. “Babe” Ruth taken at the time of his transfer as a player from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees. After helping the Red Sox to three World Series around 1918, and pictured in his Red Sox uniform, Ruth transferred to his ultimate destination, the NY Yankees. The picture on the right side of the frame is Ruth wearing his new NY Yankees uniform, and in the center of these two pictures, is an original of his Transfer of a Player Certificate for the seasons of 1919, 1920 and 1921 with the stunning price of $25,000! If you are a baseball fan, you'll want this piece of history. Full disclosure-- the left side of the black frame is damaged on this art piece.
