Item Description

Do you have an animal lover under your roof, a Cub Scout Troop looking for an unforgettable adventure or a Brownie troop who wants the camping experience of a lifetime? From dusk until dawn, your group of up to 12 kids will enjoy the sights and sounds of the San Francisco Zoo. Your overnight adventure will begin when Wild Night Guides from the San Francisco Zoo greet you at the main entrance and bring you to your campsite within the confines of the Zoo walls. After you set up camp, visit with one of the animal keepers from the Zoo for an informative talk which will illustrate the role zoos play in the conservation of wildlife. Kids will also learn some simple ways that they can help conserve at home. Dinner will be served, followed by a night hike, an evening activity and a snack. Before bedtime our very own Superintendent, Louann Carlomagno, will read your kids a hand-picked bedtime story. After waking up to the sounds of the Zoo, your group will be served a continental breakfast and taken on a morning nature walk prior to the Zoo’s opening to the public.

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:

  • Opportunity for 12 children and three adult chaperones to camp overnight in the heart of the Zoo
