Jewish soul food….finally made healthy. Paula Shoyer's new book, "The Healthy Jewish Kitchen" shows that it’s possible to be true to tradition and follow the latest advice for healthful eating too.
Shoyer has designed more than sixty recipes that use only natural ingredients and avoid powdered stocks, jarred sauces, and frying. The result is a collection that represents classic Jewish dishes—sourdough challah, potato and scallion latkes—from both the Sephardic and Askenazic traditions. She even ventures into a broader international range with recipes for Indian barbecue chicken, arroz con pollo with brown rice and salsa verde, Korean bibimbap with tofu, and much more.
Learn Paula's secrets and taste your way through small bites of some of her favorites. Tastings will be paired with kosher wines from Covenant Vineyards.
The event will be hosted by Kimberly and John Hasenberg, and held Sunday April 22. Time TBD.
