Item Description
This beautiful handturned wooden bowl is created from spalted silver maple by Paul Butler of Fitchburg, MA. Spalted means that the wood that was allowed to begin some decay, then is dried to stop that process, leaving the wood with intriguing patterns and designs. This bowl is highly charactered, with some live edge remaining. This bowl even has a durable, food-safe finish, so you can use it as a salad or other serving bowl.
Details: Bowl measures 9" wide and 4 1/2" tall.
