Item Description
This unique and inspiring 10 week workshop is taught by master ukulele maker, Sam Rosen, of Holualoa Ukulele Gallery fame. You will learn how to build your own koa (a wood found only in Hawaii) and ebony concert or tenor size ukulele. The workshop is held one night each week (Tuesdays or Thursdays) from 5:30-9:30 in Holualoa, Hawaii and includes how to make the body, fingerboard and bridge, inlays and how to attach tuners and strings. As Sam says "Sense of humor required."

Proceeds benefit Kona Historical Society, a 501c3 nonprofit. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping and Hawai`i State tax (4.166%). We try our best to ship items as economically as possible. Most are shipped flat rate but larger or unusually shaped items may need to be shipped priority. Winning bidder is also responsible for postal insurance if the item’s value is over $500.
