Casa Garuda is a beautiful Umbrian country farmhouse on a private estate with a spectacular vista of the rolling hills surrounding the Val di Chiana in Tuscany and the farmlands of Umbria. Two swimming pools are available, in season, on the estate within walking distance, plus tennis courts and nature trails. Nearby you can explore the villages of Citta della Pieve and Montepulciano, and further afield Perugia, Florence and Rome. The successful bidder will have use of the outdoor annex with a wonderful view of Tuscany, which is suitable for dining and social gatherings. There is a wonderful herb garden and a large outdoor platform for exercising and yoga.

For those in search of biking and running, swimming, health spas, tennis or just time to relax, Casa Garuda offers innumerable possibilities. For bikers and runners you will find the 60 km Sentiero della Bonifica which begins close by and takes you along a scenic trail through the Val di Chiana, passing two lakes, reaching Arrezzo to the North. You can also enjoy the Hot Springs of San Casciano dei Bagni or Chianciano. And you'll be directed to some of the best restaurants in the area!

Casa Garuda is located half-way between Rome and Florence in the Tuscan hills. Under the direction of Antonella, Casa Garuda provides the ideal environment whether for vacation or retreat. It is beautiful, protected and full of warmth. Individual retreats may be done according to the practitioner's needs, strict or relaxed. Group retreats are held throughout the year. Facilities include a large shrine hall, spacious tent for summer events, and a large hall suitable for dance and other programs. There are five private rooms, each with own bath. Additional accomodation is available in one of the country houses located on the estate.
