Product Description
Our Very Firm balls are unique, designed with the size of a baseball and with a firmness harder than the palm of your hand but softer than your therapist's elbows. They're made from a special polyurethane that has good grip characteristics so they will remain in place where you want them. These hard massage balls are excellent for increasing your mobility and relieving pain through myofascial release. Myofascial release is your first stop for treating tendinitis and other chronic muscle and tendon pain including RSI, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis. You'll find free online instructional videos on our website demonstrating their use with our other tools for guiding massage balls. Watch them and learn to do your own trigger point therapy, acupressure and deep tissue self-massage. These physical therapy balls make great gifts for your athlete / yoga friends or anyone looking for an extra firm massage ball set. Get relief when you need it, not when your therapist has an opening... Deep Recovery (formerly Massage Track) is your ticket if you want to release tight muscles safely and easily using the same techniques employed by the best physical therapists and chiropractors.
Item Special Note
Our myofascial release balls are Very Firm but they are also larger than lacrosse balls (commonly used on the feet), making them a little bit less aggressive. You may find this is a good intermediate step if you have never used lacrosse balls before on your feet.
The Achilles is often affected by tightness in the large muscle groups of your body - that is not just the calf but also in the hamstrings, back and abdominals.
There's nothing like working at a computer to tighten your forearm tendons and if you've never massaged them before, they may be very sensitive. This is a great way to get started.
The elbow is a very common weak link where tight tendons will cause pain after long-term repetitive motion including sports like tennis and weightlifting. Of course the most common injury of all is from working at a computer, typing and mousing all day. Your tendons are just calling out for some TLC.
Imagine having no fear of muscle pulls or tendinitis because you have the tools and and techniques to recover quickly. That's what our innovative tools and techniques can do for you. Because, when you really need a massage, you need it now — not next Tuesday at 3 PM. Our mission is to help you feel so good, you want to dance.
