Item Description
The bakers and oatcake makers at Genuine Nova Scotia Oatcakes source the finest ingredients locally to make something truly magnificent. Breaking ranks with traditional oatcake recipes, GNSOs shake off the Roundup residue, starting with all organically grown grains – newfound oatmeal, whole spelt flour and brown flax seed – lightly sweeetened with Nova Scotia maple syrup and honey and mixed lovingly with real butter. "Basic Goodness in Every Bite!" since 2014.
Close to 200,000 oatcakes baked to date. One might say they're getting rather good at what they do. Today GNSO's come in seven flavours:

The KiloCan™ was an early innovation – using repurposed large coffee cans from Halifax bridgeplaying clubs for mailing – over a kilo, 72+ oatcakes, packed in the can with certified organic oatmeal as edible cushioning (to prevent breakage). Zero waste packaging that really works!

As of November 19th Canada Post and its employees have reached an impasse in contract negotiations that makes delivery of this item in time for the holiday season increasingly unlikely. Please take this into account when choosing to bid.
Postal shipping and handling charge of $20 will be collected by GNSO at time of shipping.
