RAISE YOUR PADDLE FOR THE DORSKY'S CONSERVATION FUND
- Item Number
- L5
Item Description
The Dorsky has over 6,000 objects in its collection. Just last year, generous donors added 106 works of art to The Dorsky’s permanent collection. It is our responsibility and privilege not only to care for these works of art, but to share them with the public and make them available for scholarly research.
The Dorsky is pleased to launch a Conservation Fund that will provide resources to conserve works of art when necessary and to properly care for the objects entrusted to us so that they can be exhibited and studied for generations. Today, thanks to conservation undertaken by the museum, works by Milton Avery, George Bellows, George Inness, and Jervis McEntee have been professionally treated and can be displayed in our galleries.
Your support of the Conservation Fund will allow The Dorsky to leverage additional resources to ensure that our growing collection can be responsibly shared with art lovers, students and scholars far into the future.
