I decided to base the theme of my design on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I feel like in daily life we tend to sometimes forget, how blessed and privileged we are to wake up in good health.
In life nothing is ever promised, and recently a close friends mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having reached out to me and sharing his pain, this gave me even more reason to dedicate my time to customizing these Converse shoes in honour of her. She was in my thoughts and prayers throughout the entire process of filling this canvas and I hope you guys enjoy my expressions through the strokes of my brush.
Once again, I am very thankful for the opportunity granted to us by Shoe Bank Canada to partake in the second annual My Canvas Has Laces event. As we continue to grow together, I continue to count my blessings and give thanks these timeless opportunities.
God Bless. ðÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂð½
