Item Description
The successful bidder for this item will receive "Crossing Over" by artist Sherry Buckner. The print depicts a horseman carrying a young child across the water. It is an archival reproduction of the original painting.
Sherry describes the image: "It came to me when I woke one morning. Because of some depth experiences I was having during that time, I assigned a specific meaning to it. However, it also speaks on many levels or within many different forms or beliefs. For me, it speaks to the eternal self and innocence. I am strongly moved by this image. In my experience of meditating for many years, I have come to feel that what I long for is a return to a state of innocence. I see this horseman as a carrier of the soul. I sense that the destination is the unconditional and timelessness, sometimes called the original face, the primordial self, one self and so on."
