Bring the tastes of Long Island's beautiful vineyards home with this prize of six bottles of red wines, each from an award-winning estate. 

This prize includes one bottle each of the following:

Bedell 2010 Taste Red: Intensely juicy and forward in bright cherry fruit, Bedell's Taste Red is a crowd pleaser, but also remarkably finessed. Full bodied in style, it's balanced with a flurry of fresh herbs, acidity and hints of crushed granite that lend depth and complexity.

Shinn Estate Vineyards Nine Barrels 2010 Reserve Merlot: This 85% Merlot (the remainder being Petit Verdot and Malbec) has an almost Bordelaise nose, with elegant flavors of blackberry and black plum as well as distinct aromas of violet, chocolate, and earth.

Roanoke Vineyards 2010 Gabby's Cabernet Franc: Fragrant on the nose, with delicate violet notes accenting black cherry and savory herbs, this is a ripe, densely structured Cabernet Franc that's easy to enjoy now. The palate is intensely juicy, with tart red-cherry flavor and soft, feathery tannins that extend through the finish.

The Grapes of Roth 2010 Merlot from the Wölffer Estate: Redolent of dried cherries and violets, granite and slate, this late-release Merlot is already dropping elegant hints of its maturity. Concentrated with crisp black cherry flavor, it balances lavish texture alongside brisk acidity and minerality. The finish is long and meandering. It's delicious now, but sure to improve further from 2020 on.

Macari 2010 Bergen Road Red: Notes of vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate lend spice and warmth to the ripe red-cherry flavor of this Merlot-based Bordeaux blend. It's unabashedly bold in style with big, chunky tannins and rich, supple fruit, but has enough structure to develop improve further through 2019.

Christian's Cuvee 2012 Merlot from the Wölffer Estate: Deep aromas of cranberries, lilac, mushrooms, wet forest floor, sandalwood, vanilla and licorice. There is rich ripe fruit at its core: blackberries, ripe black cherries, prunes and figs. Layers of velvet tannins make this wine a powerhouse and, together with notes of licorice, leather, toasted oak and dark chocolate, a classic wine of the highest caliber. The finish is long and tightly woven with wonderful waves of lingering flavor, leaving a lasting impression.

RESTRICTIONS: This prize does not include shipping costs. Items will be shipped at the winner’s expense, or pick-up may be arranged from the Drama League offices in TriBeCa, New York City.

This prize cannot legally be shipped to the following states: Alabama, Oklahoma, Utah, Delaware, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina or Rhode Island.
