Item Description
The winning bidder will receive two (2) excellent seats to Kurt Weill's Berlin on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 7:30pm
Peter Jay Sharp Theater at the Juilliard School, 60 Lincoln Center Plaza.
The concert features the irony, satire, and sentiment of Kurt Weill, with contributions from fellow cabarettists Tucholsky, Eisler, and Hollaender.
Founded in 1968 by Michael Barrett and Steven Blier, the New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) presents original ensemble song programs “from Debussy to doo-wop, lieder to latin jazz, Josquin to just-written.” Each program is unified with a theme, constructed with a dramatic arc, and cast with superb vocal artists whose committed performances bring the songs to vivid life, with directors as accompanists and animated narrators. Come see why Newsday has called NYFOS “the most reliably excellent musical organization in New York”.
