Bryce Chisholm
ARTIST STATEMENT:
When you take a step back and really ponder the direction and meaning of your life, what do you think of? What do you dream about becoming? The choices we have made can affect our future self, but they are not set in stone. Better yet they are stepping stones to lead you along your journey. Hopping from stone to stone, a choice with each leap. Let this next leap be the one that sets you in the direction your future self deserves.
28" x 43"
Materials: Spray paint and acrylic on a wood door panel.
ARTIST BIO:
History, propaganda, nostalgia, dirty cities, and grungy alleyways with beautiful murals, all lend inspiration to Bryce Chisholm’s artwork. Chisholm, owner of AbcArtAttack, works with spray paint, acrylics and graffiti stencils to create vibrant colors for his unique and intricate paintings. His love of graffiti and street art infuses his work with the very real and raw aspects of human emotion. Whereas graffiti stencils are Chisholm’s passion, he notes that designing and cutting stencils is a long, finger wrenching process. Chisholm incorporates both traditional and new-school methods in his art and has won numerous honors and awards.
