Item Description
Amali sommeliers will lead a 30-minute tasting and discussion of different types of rose from around the Mediterranean. They will share insider knowledge on how to pick a great rose for your next dinner party or night out. The talk will take place in one of Amali’s private rooms and include a charcuterie pairing.
Rose will pour freely for a 1.5 hours and the class is good for 8-12 people.
Amali recently taught our "Beat the Sommelier Class" at the New York Times. Timing restrictions apply and reservations must be confirmed in advance by emailing the restaurant. This does not include gratuity which is suggested. Amali has been one of Eaters 38 Essential New York Restaurants since 2012. One of Wine Enthusiasts Top 100 Wine Restaurants in America in 2014, Amali's wine program has been described as "daring...[one that] Dionysus would approve of" (New York Times) and "bold...the equivalent of freaking to Burt Bachrach" (Eater.com).

Gift certificate is not transferable to dining credit and is exclusive of gratuity which is suggested. The sommelier will freely pour a selection of rose wine during the
presentation which generally lasts between 20-30 minutes. It will include a taste and discussion of 4-6 sparkling roses, their appellations and light appetizers.
