Be a Character in a John Gilstrap Thriller Novel
- Item Number
- 101
Item Description
We’re giving you the thrilling opportunity to win a role in an upcoming novel by the New York Times bestselling author John Gilstrap. He will name a character after you or a person of your choice in next year's as-yet-untitled novel in his award-winning Jonathan Grave thriller series.
The character name can be male or female. John wants you to understand that there are far more bad guys than good guys in his books, and it's entirely likely that your literary namesake will be a physically and psychologically ugly villain who dies horribly. John also reserves the right to simplify/Americanize ethnic or difficult-to-pronounce names.
Given that this will be the 13th book in the Jonathan Grave series, several names are ineligible, either because they are existing characters or because they appeared in recent books. Bidders should have several names in mind that they would like to see in case their first choice is ineligible.
Ineligible names include: Jonathan; Brian; Doug; Dominic; Trevor, Gail; Venice; Florence; Roman; Dylan; Derek; Irene; and Horne. That may or may not be an exhaustive list.
Bid high and go higher! It's for a good cause.
When he’s not busy crafting tales of super-secret security specialist Jonathan Grave’s adventures, this award-winning novelist donates his time to judge our 3D ThinkLink scholarship essay contests.
