Founded in 1842, the New York Philharmonic is the oldest symphony orchestra in the United States. Each season the Orchestra connects with up to 50 million music lovers through live concerts in New York and around the world; international broadcasts on television, radio, and online; Decca Gold albums and digital recordings; and education programs. In 2018–19 Jaap van Zweden begins his tenure as the 26th Music Director of the New York Philharmonic, and the Orchestra expands its connection to New York City.
The winner will identify a few dates and coordinate availability with the donor.
