4 classes at Electric Lodge in Venice. Expires March 2020. You're invited to join us for a joyful celebration of multi-cultural music and dance for babies to 4 year olds. Older siblings are always welcome! 

The Moo Moo Musica Method incorporates personal expression and group participation to ignite the joy, vitality and imagination that is the essence of the human experience. It was inspired by a desire to promote world peace through music, dance and art-making by building Connection – to one’s self, to the Earth, and to people of all cultures. 

Moo Moo Musica was created in 2002 by JulieAnne Searles, MFT, a licensed psychotherapist, an accomplished musician, a devoted wife and mother who lives in Venice, California with her husband, Monty, and their son, Jasper.  The popular multicultural music and movement program was inspired by JulieAnne’s childhood memories of family gatherings filled with singing and playing musical instruments as well as her professional therapeutic work with children and parents. It is also infused with her deep commitment to caring for and repairing our planet.

Through her more than 20 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, JulieAnne recognized how crucial positive early attachment and bonding experiences between infants and parents are to healthy childhood development, and in fact, a healthy and functional adulthood. Singing, playing, modeling and mirroring experiences between parent and child as well as group interaction from a very early age help foster happy, secure individuals.

With songs in more than 25 languages, dance and play exercises to stimulate development of motor and social skills – as well as messages and experiences that support ecology, community, good parenting, embracing differences and individual expression – Moo Moo Musica is a joyous celebration of aliveness and interconnectedness.

“The mission of Moo Moo Musica is to promote world peace through music and movement,” says JulieAnne. “Singing in multiple languages and moving to the rhythms are powerful pathways to peace.

All orders are subject to a $.50 shipping and handling fee. This fee will be automatically added to your total purchase when the auction closes. Gift certificates will be sent via USPS or e-mailed if applicable. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email auction@friendsofwalgrove.com by March 15th, 2019 and we will do so at your expense.

Larger items can be picked up in Los Angeles, CA or shipped at the winning bidder's expense via USPS Priority Mail. $6 for large envelopes, $13 for medium boxes, $18 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. We will insure packages when shipping; however, Friends of Walgrove is not responsible for items lost in the mail.

Walgrove Community: Pick up option is available. Pick up dates: Open House March 14 and Friday Morning March 15 Parent Center at Walgrove Elementary. Additional pick up dates and times TBA.
