The Firehouse Theater is an award-winning comedy and live performance hot spot in downtown Newport that features The Bit Players, a hilarious group of improv performers. Having earned the title of “Best Comedy Night” and “Comedy Troupe of the Year” multiple times, The Bit Players will entertain you with their host of hysterical characters, hilarious games, and side-splitting musical numbers.
Shows are every Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and seating is first-come-first served. All shows are BYOB so bring whatever you want to drink with you to the show. Complimentary water, soft drinks and tea are available for audience members.
Why not make it dinner and a show? Salvation Cafe, right down the street from the Firehouse Theater, offers an innovative menu using local vendors and serves up craft beers and exotic tiki-inspired cocktails.
