Item Description
Come meet Hannah, a beautifully handcrafted Waldorf-Doll who is looking for an older sister or brother (suitable for children ages 4 and older). She was made with love by a Summerfield parent, who was trained in Waldorf early childhood education and studied Rudolf Steiner’s recommendations for dolls and kindergarten doll play. Hannah was made with simple and natural colors and a neutral facial expression, so her older sibling is free in his/her imagination when playing with her. A doll is a picture of the human being – to be nurtured and loved.
All materials are either new or washed and repurposed. All seams are finished and sturdy, so the doll and her clothes will not unravel. The interior is sheep wool. The doll hair is a mohair/wool/polyester blend, and the clothes are made of cotton, with elastic gathers or Velcro closures. The doll is wearing several layers of clothes (undergarments, pants, sweater, jumper) and comes with an additional sweater jacket.
A basket and bedding accompany the doll. The bedding is made of reused cashmere and cotton fabric, the pillow is filled with sheep wool.
Item Special Note
Additional clothes or doll items can be purchased on etsy or ordered from Jeannette Nagel.
