Item Description
Inspired by her native city of Yokohama, artist Hiroko Tanaka brings her oen contemporary interpretation of Edo-period Ukiyo-e woodblock prints in her depictions of women. The spiral-waves symbolize the passage of time from past to future while the women represent the bond of friendship with each having their own color and keyword to create a tapestry of the humor, closeness, and elegance that is friendship with one another. Dimensions are equal to 13" inches in length and 9.4" inches in width.
