Item Description
This circa 1975 lithograph measures 17" x 22" on a 19 3/4" x 24" sheet of Rives paper. Published in an edition of 225 prints, this is print number 124 and signed by the artist.
George Russin (1920-2010) was an American artist born in New York where he attended the High School of Music and Art. He graduated from Pratt Institute, and later attended the Art Students' League. 'the little studio' has presented several shows of his work in New York, Boston, and Beverly Hills; recently La Napoule Art Foundation of France purchased two of his paintings for their collection.
The print is unmounted and unframed.
[This print is part of a collection of prints from a gallery in New York that was going out of business. The gallery owner’s son donated these prints to Congregation Ahavath Shalom (CAS).]
