Item Description
Two handmade ceramic mugs by potter Sara Baker. 5 & 5 1/2" high, approximately 3" diameter.
Sara has made pots since 1985 and professionally since 1991. She is now located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania working out of a studio in her home and participating in local art events and organizations. Her work is functional…mugs, bowls, pitchers, casseroles, and vases. She usually has something else going on in the studio. In 2012, Sara has introduced hand-built slab vessels to her body of work.
“I see the shelves in my studio fill up with pots knowing that soon someone will enjoy these pieces, someone who shares my ideas about the importance of using a beautiful pot for even the most mundane activities such as morning coffee.”
