Item Description

Paul Bocuse, the famous French chef once wrote "Good cooking does NOT mean complicated recipes or expensive ingredients.  The simpler the food the better, in my opinion".  In this spirit, 4 individuals will spend a Saturday with Minty Sidhu exploring the local farmer's market in downtown Palo Alto in the Summer of 2020.  You  will collaboratively create a menu for lunch comprised of a vegetable side, a lentil dish, a rice/pilaf dish and a savory yogurt side dish.  A meat/chicken curry dish will be optional.  To wrap up the farmer's market trip, Minty will be treating everyone to a boutique coffee from Highnote.

From there you will head to Minty's home in Palo Alto for a cooking lesson.  Pulling inspiration from her north Indian heritage, she will share with you the magic of cooking with onion, ginger, garlic and spices/herbs to create a flavorful and "heart" healthy meal.

Item Special Note

The tour, cooking lesson and lunch will take place in the SUMMER of 2020.  The "Time Table" is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00.

You will meet at the Palo Alto's farmer's market at 10:00 a.m. It is located behind the old post office on Hamilton Road.

The donor will be contacting the winning bidder to set up a "mutually agreed upon date" and to give instructions to the farmer's market and her home.

This Package was donated by: Minty Sidhu and Brian Suckow.
