Item Description
The wonderful angle of "Garibaldi/Sky" makes the viewer feel like a fish out of water and into the sky. This image captures a bright orange Garibaldi fish seemingly swimming in the sky at Casino Dive Park, in Avalon, off Catalina Island, CA. Measures 8 x 11 inches. Unframed. Image is printed on Epson 3880 printer using premium Luster archival photo paper. Epson Ultra Chrome K3 pigment inkset. Signed by artist Bruce Hall. This image is one of 10 that Bruce generously donated to our auction.
Bruce Hall is an internationally renowned professional photographer who happens to be legally blind. Bruce says he constructs his world from photographs. With the ability to only see about 5% of what most people see, Bruce says he needs cameras to see and without them his life would be bleak. Beyond being an accomplished photographer, Bruce is also a teacher, disability advocate, and father of twin severely autistic boys.
*See Bruce and his wife Valerie Hall's richly photographed book "Immersed: Our Experience with Autism" elsewhere in our auction.
