Hear the untold stories of the Boston Public Garden on this one hour tour covering the history, sculpture, and horticulture in this treasured green space. The Public Garden is our country's first public botanical garden, established in 1835 and designed by landscape architect George Meacham. The tour, led by two Friends of the Public Garden docents, is up to 12 people and includes a copy of the book "The Public Garden" for each participant. The tour will be scheduled for a mutually agreeable date and time during the months of April - September 2020 when the Garden is in full bloom. The winning bidder will also receive a Friends gardener's apron.
