Item Description
This is an original hand-made cardboard cut print, drawn and signed by the artist. It was created in 1973. The print shows the house on Nantucket Island owned by “Mr. Rogers”, the TV personality at that time. It was drawn from the balcony of the artist’s house, emphasizing the ochre and green colors of the small island.
About the Artist: Richard Gerstman spent his career as an industrial designer, working as an advertising artist and designer in Norway and Sweden before returning to the US. For the past 35 years, he has been drawing wherever he travels, creating a beautiful and impressive portfolio of landscapes from around the world.
