Item Description
Whatever your level of fly casting skill, a Perfect Cast harness will help you improve your form, timing and cast.
The harness properly positions your casting hand, wrist, arm and shoulder together. Perfect Cast includes a lightweight, durable, fully adjustable harness as well as an instruction sheet that describes how to wear the harness and how to use it to secure proper casting position and movement. The harness can be worn while practicing at home or even while wading or in a guided drift boat.
The Perfect Cast harness was developed by USMC veteran Felix Oseguera Jr. after he was wounded in Iraq in 2008. His arm was broken in combat. After splinting his own arm he continued, while awaiting surgery over the next month, to evolve the triangle bandage he had fashioned. He learned that the only movement that would not cause his radius to pop out of position was raising and lowering his elbow within a strict 45 degree angle. Later, as a participant in the Project Healing Waters program, he found that a harness immediately helped his other arm … form perfect casts!
Perfect Cast practice use will build proper position, form and timing muscle memory. Whether you are a beginning caster or an established caster with bad habits, you will find immediate casting improvement.
