This life-changing Kenya Safari/Retreat with Arte for Elephants is hosted by experienced guides and full-time traveling artists, Thyra Rutter and David Rutter. Known as the Elephant Portraitist, Thyra is the founder of Arte for Elephants, a graduate of the International Tour Management Institute, a graduate of the Otis College of Art and Design Fine Art Certificate Program, and an entrepreneur and small business mentor. David is an author, poet, photographer, foodie, adventure seeker, truth junkie and sober living expert (and AKA the author, transgressive poet and political journalist, Max Mundan).
Their popular Big Elephant Magic tours are vegetarian (vegan available) and open and welcoming to compassionate people of all ethnicities, spiritual backgrounds and sexual orientation. In addition to Kenya, they offer tours to Thailand and Cambodia, all focused on seeing and learning from magnificent elephants!
