The elephant poaching crisis is a serious issue in the survival of our declining elephant populations. Many elephant calves are left orphans due to poaching. It think it is important to not only educate and bring awareness of this situation to adults, but also to younger generations. We must all take a stand to save elephants from extinction. Although it is great to read about them in books, we don't want our children and their children to ONLY be able to read about them in the future. You will fall in love with Thunder and all his friends. I recommend you get the entire series! Thank you to Erik Daniel Shein, Melissa Davis and L.M. Reker for creating a wonderful and important story for young and old alike.
