Writer and Spanish wine aficionado Shakera Jones will provide an intimate tasting through 4 wines while discussing the rich history, culture and region each wine is from. Shakera will come to your home, office, or event space on a date of your choosing to provide this experience to a maximum of 6 people.

Shakera Jones is the founder and curator of BlackGirlsDineToo, a blog/lifestyle brand and social media space created to ambassador people into the wonderful world of high end food and wine. Her inclusive teaching style and welcoming personality allow people to learn about food and wine in a way that is approachable and relatable. She hosts a bi-weekly “virtual tasting” to explore and expand the palates of her followers. She also works diligently to promote and support diversity and inclusion efforts for women and other underrepresented minorities in wine. She is currently studying to obtain certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers. A tech professional by day and wine student by night, her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion does not stop at wine. She is also a mentor with the organization Black Girls Code. A lover of food and wine and a TRUE New Yorker.
