While studying fashion merchandising in NYC and engrossing myself in every possible internship in the industry, I found myself truly most intrigued by the retail world. I loved the combination of working with beautiful clothes while also being able to develop personal relationships with customers. I felt a real connection to the job in the same way I felt about working in my family’s diner while growing up.

After years of managing luxury retail stores in NY, and freelance styling on the side, I felt the need to move on and make a new path for myself. I made the move to Chattanooga, TN to be closer to family and quickly fell in love with the ease, comfort, and friendliness of the city. While managing and buying for a local boutique, I finally had the realization that while I did enjoy the retail world, what really pulled me in were the people. I LOVED the customers and I loved the clothes. My favorite part of every day was sitting and talking with people and getting to know their stories. I had lost sight of this in the hustle and bustle of New York.

Styling has always been a joy of mine (just ask my saint of a mother who did the laundry for my 5 outfit changes a day as a child.) It was my way of expressing myself creatively which was a great source of confidence.Once working in retail I found that I had the ability to not only style myself, but also style others, and more importantly bring them the same sense of confidence. Nothing had ever felt so fulfilling to me as seeing a woman, or man, come into the store in a slump and leave a completely different, better version inside and out, of themselves.

SERVICES
STYLE CONSULTATION
A one-on-one conversation either in person, or over the phone. This is a time for us to determine your true style, outline your needs, your wants, and a budget. From that, I will make a game plan for us to review together that will bring clarity to the process.

WARDROBE / CLOSET MANAGEMENT
An in home, hands on assessment of your current clothing options. After outlining your needs in our Style Consultation, we can get down to executing our plan!

Purging:​ Closet purging is a necessary step that I see all too often for clients who have difficulty getting dressed. This step can sometimes be difficult to accomplish on your own, simply because we all have sentimental connections to items, which can limit our ability to let go. Together we will go through and establish which pieces are no longer serving a purpose for you, and then decide whether to donate or consign.

Wardrobing​: Outfitting can be a major benefit for clients who have busy lifestyles and just don’t have the time to think about assembling a cohesive outfit every morning. It’s also a great way to help those who want a little guidance in improving their current favorite ensembles, or a push to step out of their box completely with something new.This step can be done in your closet together if your schedule permits, or I can easily prepare some choices and present them to you for review in home or at a store. I will organize a picture book of head to toe outfits for all occasions (work, vacation, date night, event dressing, etc.) to make dressing a stress free and confidence boosting experience.

Closet Organization:​ Sometimes the issue can be as simple as your closet not being organized correctly to help you get dressed efficiently. This is usually an easy fix that just about everyone can benefit from to transform the experience of getting dressed from overwhelming, to stress free and enjoyable.


PERSONAL SHOPPING
If we determine that you need some new pieces to fill in the holes in your wardrobe, then shopping is the next step! This can be done with or without you, and we can shop locally, out of town, or online. These specifics can be established in your consultation, and will be tailored to suit your style, as well as your lifestyle goals. After shopping we will have a fitting to decide what works, what doesn’t, what needs to be tailored, and what will work best in your current wardrobe.

GROUP TRIPS
Curated shopping trips are the perfect way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, new motherhood, or just a great excuse to spend time with friends and family. I currently offer trips to Atlanta, Nashville, and New York, with a couple of new exciting locations coming in 2019! Depending on your budget and desires, we can put together a day trip to Atlanta or a fully curated long weekend in New York.
