2017 Beaujolais Nicole - Being an MCS parent and MCS teacher at the same time requires some special juice that we on the auction committee lack. We searched our cellars and came up with this instead. Our tasting notes say “strawberry and raspberry and a little acidity;” that’s kind of how Nicole gets kids back and forth to the park, right? Mainly, like Nicole, this elegant wine will bring a smile to your face.
2017 Monterey Pinot Noir Tarrica Julianna - Julianna loves to travel, and we imagine this is the kind of thing she comes across when she journeys westward. Like the 9-10s curriculum, this wine has a lot of complexity. You might catch hints of cherry, cinnamon, reading log, and vanilla. It pairs well with food, homework, and the works of E.L. Konigsberg. It’s the kind of wine that could speak for itself at Parent-Teacher conferences (and we at the auction committee would be fully behind welcoming it to the table!).
