You are bidding on a guided tour (vineyard, barrel room, and art gallery), cheese plate, and wine tasting for 2 at Reyes Winery. 

This package includes tasting of 7 award-winning wines in our Tasting Room, a tour of the Reyes Vineyard including a visit to the Barrel Room and Robert Reyes’ Art gallery. Your guide will take you around the vineyard, where you will be given information about the vines, and then a look behind scenes to give you details of how we make the grapes into wine. In the barrel room you will see where we make and store the wine. You will experience a tasting and you will view a variety of Robert Reyes’ masterpieces, which will include his newest release and also the painting that will be featured as our latest label. You will hear the story about Robert Reyes, the winemaker, his vineyard and his award-winning wines. Tour and tasting take approximately 90 minutes. Tours are available at 11am-1pm, 12pm-2pm, and 3pm-5pm Saturday and Sunday. 

Because of a passion for wine and wine-making, Robert Reyes envisioned having a small vineyard to produce small amounts of ultra premium wines for family and friends. However, in 2002 when he purchased the beautiful piece of land where the vineyard is located today, the vision changed from a personal hobby to a winery. The 16-acre vineyard was personally planted by Robert Reyes and the Reyes family in April of 2004, and consists of five popular grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Muscat. The first crop was harvested in 2005 and produced a very small amount. While the winery went through the rigorous permit process in Los Angeles County, the vineyard matured, and the quality of the fruit progressively improved significantly with each subsequent vintage. This resulted in better, more robust and elegant wines. The winery has produced single varietals, blends and has created four award-winning dessert wines as well as a great Rose. The winery has released its “Orange/Amber Wine”, which is a skin-contact white wine created in similar fashion to traditional Georgian wines.
