Item Description
Striking Tuareg Necklace: The traditionally-nomadic Tuareg people are indigenous to the Sahara desert. They are often called "the Blue People of the desert" due to the indigo dye they use on their garments that stains their skin. This stunning artisan-crafted necklace has a uniquely modern feel. The hand-forged silver chain necklace features a curved silver pendant with inlays of ebony wood. This unique piece was acquired by C.A.S.E. therapist, Madeleine Krebs, when she served in Niger as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1992 - 1994.
