Founded in 1966, the Baltimore Streetcar Museum is America's first downtown streetcar museum. It houses an original collection from Baltimore. you will experience the sights and sounds of electric public transportation. . .the way it used to be before 1963.
As our guest, you will enjoy unlimited streetcar rides, access to our interesting and educational displays, a video presentation on the history of streetcars, tours of our collection in the car house and, of course, our Museum Store.
The Baltimore Streetcar Museum is a non-profit museum located at 1901 Falls Road in Baltimore, Maryland. The museum is dedicated to preserving Baltimore's public transportation history, especially the streetcar era. The museum is open Noon to 5 P.M. every Sunday March through December and Noon to 5 P.M. Saturdays, June through October.
